Possible Sources for Financial Aid
(for individuals):
So many pets are left untreated or
euthanized because an owner cannot afford the care of their pet. These
organizations do help. Please cross post this as a reference to other
rescues and send a copy to your Vets office. We in rescue work hard to
provide money for the medical care of our intakes. Most times an individual
owner is unaware that there are organizations that can help them with their
pets medical bills. This list perhaps will give them a chance to provide
medical care for their pet. It's nice to know there is help, not everyone
can handle a bill that runs into thousands. And bad enough to have to make
that final decision because of an injury/disease but to have to make a final
choice if a pet lives or dies because of finances, well, that's a
heartbreaker. Not everyone is fortunate enough to have a Vet that works with
them.
