JUSTIN - ADOPTED

There is a gentle soul inside this poor male German Shepherd that was found in Elmore County on April 1st 2010. This was certainly no April Fools joke as this poor dog has obviously been starved, has mange, infections and wounds that were seeping. But his eyes showed complete trust in us and we will not let him down. His recovery will take quite a while but he now knows a soft bed, love and care. According to his veterinary exam Justin is severely emaciated, anemic, full of hookworms, has heartworms, has Demodectic Mange and has multiple infections from being in this condition. He is staying at least the weekend at the vet clinic to make sure his recovery starts off correctly. We will work to save Justin no matter what, but if you can donate to help us get him back to 100% health, we would be most appreciative. Donations can be made to help us with "Justin's" care on our website via PayPal; via Credit Card over the phone: 334-567-3377 or mailed to our shelter at 255 Central Plank Road, Wetumpka, AL 36092. We will update Justin's condition on our Facebook site as he improves. Thank you to all who take loving care of your own pets and are as horrified as we are that someone could do this to such a gentle soul.

This is Justin on 3 July 2010 – the first day of his new life with his new family!!  Getting Justin to this point was truly a team effort and we have many people to thank for helping us save this wonderful boy!

Thank you to all who donated money to help pay for Justin’s extensive veterinary care! Because of you he was able to stay at the vet’s office to get the care he so badly needed before

continuing his treatments and care in his foster home.

Thank you to the great veterinarians and staff at Bryson Veterinary Clinic for taking such good care of him and getting him back to health!

To Melinda and Mark for being simply awesome foster parents – giving Justin his daily medications, keeping him calm during his heartworm treatment and taking him back and forth to

    the vet for his checkups!

And to Elaine & Greg for giving Justin his forever home where all reports are that he is doing super and they love him dearly!

BE HAPPY JUSTIN!!!!
