BARK IN THE PARK 2011
Sunday, 25 September 2011, 1-5 pm
Ft. Toulouse in Wetumpka
http://www.forttoulouse.com/
Bring your pet and join in the
fun as we will have something for everyone!
All pets must be good in public around other animals, children and adults,
leashed and have a current rabies tag on their collars in accordance with
Alabama State Law. We reserve the right to ask an owner to remove a pet if
it exhibits unsafe behavior.
It is not permissible to bring any animal for the purposes of
trying to give it away, sell it, trade it or in any way re-home a pet that is
NOT an animal brought by the Humane Society of Elmore County. Anyone trying to
do so will be instructed to leave Ft. Toulouse with said animals immediately.

MEET THE BREED & BREED RESCUE
Members of the Montgomery Kennel Club and breed
placement groups will have Meet the Breed tables so you can learn more about
various breeds, interact with their dogs and get lots of free information on
Responsible Pet Ownership.
Breed Rescues groups work hand in hand with shelters to help specific
breeds, so meet these great allies & some of their dogs & get info on their
breed(s).
ADOPTABLE DOGS
We will bring a few of our great dogs to join the fun and
hopefully go home as the newest family member for a wonderful home!
(Please understand that we can’t bring our kitties as we wouldn’t
want to lose any if they got scared and were to get loose in the park)
Live Remotes by
I-92 & Y102
ADMISSION
$5 admission fee for EACH
person 13 and older and we will have someone at the gate of Ft. Toulouse to
take money and give you a map and schedule of the events. Having the exact
dollar amount will greatly help speed up getting everyone into the park
faster. All dogs must be leashed, good in public and have a current rabies
tag on their collar.
In the event of
severe weather, the backup date for Bark in the Park is: Sunday, 2 October
2011, still at Ft. Toulouse
